{Video} Why I Love Leading the Make Peace with Food Group Program
I lead a six-week group program called Make Peace with Food. The first group of 2022 begins this Friday, January 14th, and I hope you’ll join! In the video below I explain why I'm so passionate about offering this group and ways you might benefit from it if you choose to join.
Being in group is a powerful way to get the support, guidance, connection, validation and encouragement we're so often missing in everyday life. Meeting regularly for six weeks will allow you to carve out space for yourself and to take care of those parts of you that need more attention.
There are various reasons why people have joined this group. Some wanted to have a less reactive response to food and learn how to eat until satisfied rather than uncomfortably full. Others wanted to improve their relationship with their body and learn how to make the right choices for their needs, rather than follow what they "should" do. While still others wanted to overcome food preoccupation and adopt a more holistic, non-diet framework for taking care of their whole selves, mind-body-spirit.
Whatever your reasons are for wanting a better relationship with food, your body and yourself, they're welcome in this group. I've seen it happen over and over. When you commit to yourself, you're allowing those deeper desires and an intentionality, curiosity and courage to guide you to a better place where you feel calmer, safer, and more trusting in your own skin and in how you show up in life.
If this sounds like the type of support that you need, I hope you'll join. Click through to the group page below to learn more and to register.
